Just an update on my winning shot - you can now see it at Photoradar, long with 3 other shots of mine which were shortlisted
Flickr has gone mad its official. For some reason the shot I posted on 3rd January has now had 25,706 views !!! So what’s the story here? What is a view in Flickr - is it an individual clicking on the thumb nail of my shot, or is it just my shots been included somewhere else thats popular and people are seeing it from there. I’ve tried to hunt through the stats but all the traffic seems to be coming from flickr itself. I’d like to think its justa great shot and people want to look at it, I am however usually very pesimistic and I’m sure there’s another answer. Any ideas?
Just picked up the latest copy of Digital Camera Magazine (issue 108 February 2011), and there I am page 28, winner of this months mission - Cityscapes. My shot is one I took at Canary Wharf when I hooked up with a great flickr mate of mine - Noel Clegg. Managed to get this long exposure shot without too much hassle from security for once, actually seemed quite interested in what we were doing. Anyway pleased as punch to get published, and to win a competition too.
